The Delta Project

Commissioned By Delta Galil for the company  headquarters' office,   Park Ave.  New York

A series of nine wall pieces, each 120x70 cm, commissioned by Delta Galil Industries Ltd. for the lobby of the company’s new offices in New York City. Delta Galil, one of the leading global firms in manufacturing unique knitwear, develops and produces underwear and sportswear for leading brands, including Nike, Lacoste, Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, and others. The brief was to use the company’s products as raw material and the method of deconstruction and re-weaving to create a familiar image of the original piece of clothing, which looks strange and not always logical. As with some of my other pieces, I attempt to have the viewer observe a “familiar” textile for a while, take another glance, and realize one must doubt the “obvious.”.
